2 Chic Avocado Oil Serum & Traders Joes Coconut Oil

This hands down has to be some of my favorite hair product. 2 Chic has a variety of different hair oils and products but the avocado & olive oil serum and leave-in conditioner is my favorite.

The stuff smells great and keep your hair and not to mention ends soft.

My hair routine is as follows: I like to wash my hair only three times a week or every other day. I shampoo & condition, however I only shampoo my scalp and condition the ends for 5 to 7 minutes.

I have an oily scalp therefore don't like to apply a lot of conditioner there. Instead after I get out of the shower I use a small amount of leave in conditioner on my scalp and about a dime size of serum on my ends.

A good way to tell if your ends are dry is to apply some serum or oil you have to your hair. If your hair doesn't get oily your ends were most likely dry and it absorbed the oil.

I also like to use some of this oil if I plan on using any sort of heat on my hair.

You can find this product at your local Sprouts market or Whole foods. If you don't have either of these stores near you, you could try a local health food store or even easier, order it on Amazon!

Great for it's many uses, coconut oil is also great for hair. I sometimes like to use it as a hair mask that I leave on for a few hours throughout the day. This helps hydrate your hair and it smells good.

So I've recently started DIY sugar waxing which I will get into another time, however coconut oil is a great soothing oil for post waxing. It also has antibacterial properties and helps moisturize the skin.

I bought mine at Trader Joes but any cold pressed unrefined organic coconut oil works! :)
