Merry Christmas You Filthy Animal

Merry Christmas You Filthy Animal

Wow, how do I even process this? If you’ve already read Meghan Quinn’s How My Neighbor Stole Christmas, than I’m assuming you already know what you’re in for.

This book was all of the above! Absolutely hilarious, adorable, raunchy and just an overall fun read. If you thought the candy canes in her previous book were a surprise, just wait until you’ve been introduced to the chocolate covered cherries. * embarrassingly covers eyes*

I very much enjoyed the plot of this book and love the added narration which makes things so much more fun and gives a traditional nostalgic Christmas film feeling.

Atlas Maxheimer is what I would describe as an over 6 foot giant lumberjack who is devoted to his magical town of Kringle & family Christmas farm. You could say he is the golden boy of town, loved by all except for his number one nemesis Dwight.

Dwight’s niece Betty is new to town after a failed business. She assists her uncle in a new endeavor, an endeavor that endangers Atlas’ family farm.

What begins as a battle between two enemies quickly turns into an adorable evolving relationship filled with tons of clever meet cutes, blabbering inappropriate comedy, and naughtiness. *covers eyes again*

Atlas and Betty’s relationship is just SWOON. I love how obsessed he is with her and he’s just an overall good guy. If only all men were like Atlas. *cue the falling tear*

Highly recommend this book for adults as there is mature content not suitable for young teens! Enjoy!
